Acrylic on linen canvas, 130 × 150 cm
2023, Flower Spaces Collection
When everything quiets down—what remains?
When nothing exists yet—where does it begin?
Before this large canvas, I stood with the desire to fully experience every tiny part of the painting. I filled it so completely that there was no space left for anything specific. And yet, for me, everything is there.
I thought of countless lives—those who have been and those who are yet to come. Of the primal substance from which everything rises, and to which everything returns. It feels incredibly alive and true.
Lately, I’ve been reading Mr. Tompkins in Wonderland by George Gamow—a book about the universe, physical laws, black holes, singularities, and the infinite density of matter.
I sometimes wish I had the capacity to calculate it all. But imagining it—that might be even more fun.
