Renata Kolečkářová

“I see my paintings as quiet fragments of understanding — small moments where something from the visible world opens a door into something deeper...
My creative process is rooted in observing the rhythms and structures of nature. I look at flowers, bodies, landscapes — but what I'm really seeking is what lives beneath them. Through form, color, and presence, I’m tracing the invisible patterns that hold everything together.
Often, I start with a feeling or a question. I don’t always know what I’m looking for — but I follow a sense of connection or harmony. Painting becomes a way to be in conversation with life itself. I explore, layer, pause, return. Sometimes it’s raw and emotional, sometimes meditative and slow. Always sincere.
Each piece is both a personal imprint and an offering — a space for others to enter, rest, feel. I believe art can nourish us. It can open something quiet and essential inside. Creating is my way of touch the world. My work is deeply rooted in observing nature, exploring ever-evolving forms of life. It resonates within me in a harmonizing way.”
Renata Kolečkářová is a Czech visual artist whose work is rooted in deep observation of natural forms and inner experience, opens subtle spaces for presence, stillness, and emotional resonance.
She studied textile and fashion design at the High School in Jihlava and continued with an individual full-time program at the School of Applied Arts in Písek. Later, she deepened artistic practice through numerous long term courses, workshops, including the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, the Hampstead Garden Suburb Institute in London, and summer academies in painting and sculpture. Her mentors include Prof. Oriešek, MgA. Aldin Popaja, MgA. Ildar Youssoupov, MgA. Eva Červená, MgA. Marek Škubal and others. Alongside, she expanded her imagination through drama and dance training, as well as a personal interest in philosophy and physics — especially the fundamental principles that shape our reality.
Since 2015, she has been working in her own studio — located in town embraced by nature near the Brdy hills, just outside of Prague. The studio, nestled in a wild garden, offers a space of quiet connection with the natural world, which continues to shape and inspire her work. She regularly exhibits her paintings, which are now part of private collections in the Czech Republic and abroad.

What Collectors Are Saying
“We have one of Renata’s paintings in our bedroom, accompanying us every day—when we wake up in the morning and when we go to sleep at night. Looking at it always reminds me of how thin the line is between reality and abstraction, between what we see and perceive as real and what we feel, sense, or simply imagine. Renata’s paintings reveal something familiar, yet they also leave space for personal imagination. They are like windows into another world—one that cannot be captured by a camera but can be completed in the mind of each and every person. ”
— Jitka Nosková, Marketing & Communications Manager
“The painting I chose is, for me, a symbol of transitional transformation - a reminder of the path I have walked. It embodies my inner freedom, beauty, and femininity. I feel tenderness, love, joy, and passion within it. Every time I look at it, it soothes my soul and reminds me of how powerful art can be, especially the part that exists within each of us, because I see life itself as art. From the beginning to the end, and into a new beginning.”
— Veronika Horejšová, Coach
“I perceive Renatka's work as a gentle poetry without words. The colors in her paintings meet with natural ease, as if dancing in a silent world of harmony. Every stroke is focused, but free - carried by playfulness and deep, grounding peace. Her paintings are not just a vision, but an experience - they invite you to stop, to perceive, to immerse yourself in a space where time slows down and the soul finds its solid, grounded point.”
